Purpose over reps
Every drill has a reason. Players leave knowing exactly what they worked on and what to work on next.

Founder & Head Coach
I teach tennis the way I wish more people taught it: as a thinking game. Strokes matter, but so do footwork, strategy, emotional control, and the ability to solve a point in real time. My goal in every lesson is to build a player who can read the game, not just repeat a swing.
Teaching is the part I love most, and I pay close attention to how each player learns, because no two respond to the same coaching. Some want to be pushed hard; others need patience and space. I coach the person in front of me, whether that is a junior chasing a varsity spot or an adult rediscovering the game.
Rally Art is a Central Pennsylvania tennis brand built on one idea: the court is where players learn to shape not just their game, but the way they show up for everything else.
Rally Art began the way a lot of good things do: as a family game that got serious. Time on the court turned into a fascination with how tennis actually works, and an even deeper interest in how to teach it well.
I came to the game with an operator's eye and a teacher's instinct. Years of running a business and helping people do their best work taught me that tennis rewards the same things: preparation, adaptability, patience, and the willingness to keep improving through imperfection. Rally Art is where those worlds meet.
The name is the whole philosophy. Every rally is a chance to make something, and the habits players build on court, focus, composure, and competitiveness, carry well beyond it. Whether you are a junior working toward a varsity spot or an adult rediscovering the game, we build players who think, not just swing.
Every drill has a reason. Players leave knowing exactly what they worked on and what to work on next.
